We are here to support childhood cancer reserach and to support David Brooks, a 13 year old from Raleigh, who has spent the last 3 years undergoing cancer treatment at UNC Children's hospital. David is in remission and just completed active treatment at the end of last year. David will continue to go for monthly blood tests for the next several years. We are shaving our heads to ask for your support for pediatric cancer research so that other children will not be forced to face this disease and that children are not robbed of precious years that cannot be returned and that family's do not face the loss of a child to this disease .
