5/14/2012--Coming down the homestretch we see the GOAL IN SIGHT! Keep talking to your family, friends and coworkers, there's still time to make a donation. They can even donate after the event; in fact year-round! Cap'n P. 4/28/2012--Team now stands at 5 GUYS and 6 GALS, and we are more than halfway to our goal of $10,000. There was a great bake sale held up on Gonda 15 this week with wonderful results! What a great way to raise funds. Continue to contact friends and family who have said they want to donate but have not yet done so. One way is to provide email updates letting them know how close you are to reaching your personal goal, this way is a gentle reminder to all of them, and not a direct request for funds from any one person. Good luck! Cap'n P.
4/11/2021--We now have 4 GUYS and 6 GALS on the team, and are close to half of our goal! Keep up the good work and keep asking people if they want to join the team. Most of them will be happy donating if it means they don't have to get their heads shaved! Cap'n P.

3/20/2012--Our team keeps getting stronger and more awesome; we now have 6 GALS and 2 GUYS!! So many people have been so generous, we're at 1/4 th of our goal already. This will be the best year ever! Cap'n. P

3/17/2012----Happy St. Patrick's(Baldricks?) Day to all; It's great to have added 2 more GALS to the team. Cap'n P.

3/12/2012---Woo-hoo! Way to make a great start, gals! Those guys will have to work to catch up to us :)

2/27/2012--OK, all you Surgical Superheroes....time to get started. Just click the 'Participate with this team' link to add your name to our team roster. Then contact all your family and friends to see if they want to join our team; it doesn't matter if they don't work in surgery, or even at the same place we work...ALL are welcome to join us!! Let's see how many team members we can get this year. Last year, the 9 of us raised over $8,000, so this year we're raising the bar!! Cap'n Paula.

2/20/2012--We have answered the call to be heroes! We've teamed up to have our heads shaved – to stand in solidarity with kids fighting cancer, but more importantly, to raise money to find cures.

Please support us with a donation to the St. Baldrick's Foundation. This volunteer-driven charity funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government.

Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. So when we ask for your support, we're really asking you to support these kids. Thank you!

Click "Make a donation" to give online, or donate by phone or mail.
