We are shaving our heads!!! Because Bald is Beautiful. We are taking a stand!!!! Because Beauty is on the inside. We are making a statement!!! Because money equals research equals a cure. We are doing this because its our choice, a choice we are making to raise funds for childhood cancer research. The kids who get cancer and have to deal with chemo and radiation, they don't have the choice, they just loose their hair. And when you look in the eyes of a child who has cancer.........your heart melts. When you get to know a child who has cancer like my sister Alyse, and you get to hug them, talk with them, laugh with them, share their joy and their sorrow, their courage and their defeat, you realize that shaving your head is such a small small thing to do. Please jump on board and become a shavee to make people aware of the fight these kids go thru or donate to the cause. EVERY dollar helps. We are answering the call to be heroes! We've teamed up to have our heads shaved – to stand in solidarity with kids fighting cancer, but more importantly, to raise money to find cures. Please support us with a donation to the St. Baldrick's Foundation. This volunteer-driven charity funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government.
