Celebrating 25 Years

St. Baldrick’s started as a grassroots effort 25 years ago, driven by people who believe in helping kids with cancer.

National Partner

St. John's / Pack 618 / Troop 1618

As you may recall, last year, a group of St. John’s students, scouts, and staff raised a whopping $ 13,216 for pediatric cancer research by shaving their heads! This year, SJES, along with our own Cub Scout Pack 618, and Boy Scout Troop 1618 are combining forces again to rally our support of those battling cancer. This year’s annual St. Baldrick’s event is Sunday, March 27th at the Bell Tower right here in Rancho Santa Margarita. Over the past three years this event has continued to grow in size; both in donations and in the number of shavees. This year we hope to make it the best ever! Our St. John’s family has been struck by cancer in numerous ways over the past few years. The shavees who participate in this event do so purely out of their own generosity. This is great opportunity to get involved and help other kids that are battling this terrible disease. Each participant has a personal story to share and in the end, they have a blast with this event. Sign up today, set up your own personal webpage, and join us on March 27th at the Bell tower in Rancho Santa Margarita. And remember..Bald is Beautiful!
