Celebrating 25 Years

St. Baldrick’s started as a grassroots effort 25 years ago, driven by people who believe in helping kids with cancer.

National Partner

SigEp Kentucky Eta

This year we will be honoring a little angel named Mia. Mia was diagnosed with a rhabdoid tumor in October 2009. It is a rare tumor where only 30 children in the US are diagnosed each year. On October 19th Mia had surgery to remove the tumor. Most of it was removed and an internal drain was put in to keep fluid from building up in her head. A few days later another rhabdoid tumor was discovered at the base her spine. Mia passed away on February 23, 2010.

We have answered the call to be heroes! We've teamed up to have our heads shaved – to stand in solidarity with kids fighting cancer, but more importantly, to raise money to find cures.

Please support us with a donation to the St. Baldrick's Foundation. This volunteer-driven charity funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government.

Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. So when we ask for your support, we're really asking you to support these kids. Thank you!
