"Permit the children to come to Me; do not hinder them; for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these." - Mark 10:14 (NASB) Welcome to the team page of Heaven's Helpers! We're so very blessed you stopped by...please take a moment to make a donation to a very worthy cause - you won't be sorry! This is our first year as a team and we're honoring two VERY courageous kids: Nevaeh and Gavin. Nevaeh (Heaven backwards - cute, huh?) is from Colorado Springs, CO and Gavin is from Dayton, OH - yep, two different sides of the nation! Let me tell you a bit about our two honorees: Nevaeh Armor Ellinger Earls was quite the fighter! Diagnosed with neuroblastoma at age 3 1/2, Nevaeh was the true definition of never giving up. Always smiling and helping others get through the difficult times, she was one of a kind. After battling fiercely, Nevaeh went home to the arms of Jesus just two weeks before her 5th birthday. She is sorely missed by her family, friends, and those she impacted during her short time with us. We have NO doubt that the Lord had a specific mission for Nevaeh and although we miss her dearly, we know we'll be united with her again... Gavin Lucas is special young man! Diagnosed with Ewing's Sarcoma, Gavin is fighting hard and winning the battle! After a hard fought round of chemotherapy, Gavin has emerged triumphant and is currently in remission! Praise God! There's no doubt his competitive spirit and good nature brought him through this period of his life. While the doctors remain watchful, Gavin continues to strengthen and get back to his old self! So, with those two young warriors introduced, I leave you to make a decision - a decision to stand with us in the fight against childhood cancer! ANY gift will be worth it! How about $50? $100? Or, if you can't reach that line, $25? Whatever the amount, thank you in advance for your participation in our efforts! Shaving our heads is nothing...it's YOU who get the credit for the good this organization does! May God bless you and keep you, Heaven's Helpers
