Hi everyone! We have been supporters of the annual St. Baldrick’s fundraiser for many years now. This year St. Baldrick’s has very special meaning for the Barbosa/Pereira/Pimentel families. Our close family friend, Rose Marsella, was diagnosed with Cancer in late 2018 and has been undergoing chemotherapy over the past 4 months. Rose started to lose her hair after her first chemo session and in a proactive move shaved her head. She had a head full of beautiful, thick hair so in a gesture of our support for Rose, we will BRAVE THE SHAVE...David and Kellie Barbosa, Stacey Pimentel and Paula Pereira. Rose is an extended member of the entire Pereira family who for the past 28 years has been sharing in many happy times, creating memories with us that we will cherish forever. Rose is a caring, compassionate and selfless person who is always there with open arms for anyone in a time of need. We are doing this to show Rose that she is loved and not alone in her fight with this awful disease.
We would be truly grateful for any donation you are able to contribute. Proceeds raised from events in Bermuda will be managed by Bermuda Cancer and Health Centre to fund the SunSmart program and by the St. Baldrick’s Foundation to fund life-saving research. Please use this link to donate. Thank you for your support!
