Dear Family and Friends,   You probably already know why this charity is near and dear to my heart.  If you look closer at this specific event's page you'll see four more reasons why.

In 2015, Chase was hit hard with something that no child should ever have to face.  But he wasn't alone.  While he was fighting cancer with his friends by his side in Swanton, there was also a child in Fayette, Archbold, Defiance, Liberty Center, and Wauseon.  They all had a face and a name, a family, a smile and a laugh, but also a diagnosis.  Of those children that I speak of, Chase is the only one left.  The rest are angels now as they lost their fight with this heart-wrenching, horrible, disease.  It breaks me to pieces inside to hear their stories, how hard they fought, the memories left behind, to read parent blogs, to see pictures... I just can't imagine.

There is no thesaurus that can give me the adequate words to explain how lucky I feel.  We were given the biggest lottery ticket that anyone could ever ask for.

I'm asking that you please consider helping to fund childhood cancer research.  Chase has volunteered to go bald again, but this time on his own terms, and to help others.  If you'd like to show your support, please donate.

"Even the smallest stone makes a ripple."

Love, Heather
