Celebrating 25 Years

RJ's Journey

  • Sandy Parrillo photo

Rick and I are blessed with two wonderful, healthy children, RJ and Marissa. However, there have been challenges. Our son, RJ was diagnosed with T cell Lymphoblastic lymphoma, a form of non-hodgkins lymphoma when he was six years old. He underwent over two years of chemotherapy both oral and IV, radiation treatments, injections and surgeries. Thankfully today he is a healthy 19 year old starting his second year of college at Lynn University. Not all families are as fortunate. The survival rate is getting better but much more needs to be done. It takes dedicated physicians and researchers and most importantly funding. Rick and I decided to try and help the cause so we are shaving our heads to raise money for childhood cancer research! Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.

St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids

It's all about the kids. Let's fund childhood cancer research to help kids grow up cancer-free. Get involved or make a donation today, and click a photo below to see why we need cures now.
