This will be my 10th year supporting St. Baldricks. I can not thank you all enough for supporting me and my team every year. Childhood cancer continues to take the lives of children, about 7 children a day. Childhood cancer research is poorly underfunded by the federal government. It is organizations like St. Baldricks that allows doctors and research facilities to find bether ways to treat and ultimately find a cure for all childhood cancers. Below are a couple of pictures from this year. Things that Gwen has to still deal with as a result of being a cancer survivor. Constant doctors visits and different hospital stays. A biopsy to make sure another cancer is not present. She also had two minor surgeries to try to find out why she was in heart failure. We learned that a heart transplant is in her future. These are a couple of struggles Gwen faces. With more research, treatment will become less toxic for these children so that survivorship does not mean a lifetime of hardship. Thank you again for your continued support.

God bless,
Brian
