Celebrating 25 Years

St. Baldrick’s started as a grassroots effort 25 years ago, driven by people who believe in helping kids with cancer.

Our son carries the torch now, the one that's lit up by our clean-shaven heads!

It began in 2014, when I shaved my head, donated my hair and raised $1000 towards childhood cancer research. 2 years later, as we awaited the birth of our child, Gopal & I raised over $2500 and shaved our heads. Once again, I donated my hair - fresh grown and untouched for two years.

This time, our son Uhuru, who is fondly referred to as Chakada (sugar in Malayalam) by his grandmother, would like to help his generation be strong and cancer-free.

Join us, as we - Kavita, Gopal & Uhuru shave our heads together for the first time as a family; to support the efforts of skilled and thoughtful researchers who dedicate their lives to the eradication of childhood cancer.

We want to raise $1500 and we seek your support to make it to the mark.

St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids

It's all about the kids. Let's fund childhood cancer research to help kids grow up cancer-free. Get involved or make a donation today, and click a photo below to see why we need cures now.
