In 1212 A.D., an 18-year-old Italian girl named Clare cut off her hair as a public sign of her commitment to a life of simplicity and sacrifice. In the spirit of Saint Clare of Assisi, we offer our hair as a public sign of our solidarity with young people who suffer from cancer and who want nothing more than the simple gift of health. The Bald Clares team consists of members and friends of Saint Clare Church in Southwest Portland.

St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids
