Celebrating 25 Years

St. Baldrick’s started as a grassroots effort 25 years ago, driven by people who believe in helping kids with cancer.

National Partner

Kingston PBA

Hey folks! Ever wonder what Kingston would look like if a whole bunch of bald cops were patrolling the streets? No comments necessary – we know many of our guys don’t have what you call a full head of hair to begin with – but, some of our guys are willing to shave what hair they do have on top of their head for a good cause. On March 14, 2015 you could start seeing more bald cops. Imagine the St. Patrick’s Day Parade being led by bald cops! On March 14, 2015 some of the members of the Kingston Police Department are going to be having their heads shaved at the St. Baldrick’s Day event in Saugerties for a good cause – raising money for research into childhood cancer. The St. Baldrick’s Foundation began in 1999 and since has donated millions of dollars for research into childhood cancer. Help us raise some money for this worthy cause.

Usually you call us for help… now we need your help!

What we need from our citizenry –

#1 – If you know a police officer you would like to see bearing the cue ball look – talk to him (or her) and convince them, shame them, or just call them out and get them to participate!

#2 – MOST IMPORTANTLY - visit the attached link and make a donation to help us raise money for childhood cancer research.

***Special note ***

We create this team, stand together in solidarity and raise funds in memory of Tristan Mills, a nephew of one of our own, who tragically lost his battle with cancer in October of 2013, shortly after turning 5 years old.
