Celebrating 25 Years

St. Baldrick’s started as a grassroots effort 25 years ago, driven by people who believe in helping kids with cancer.

National Partner

Aurora Firefighters Local 1290

We are shaving our heads to raise money for childhood cancer research! Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So we decided to do something about it by raising money for cures and we need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers. Want to do more than donate money? Are you compelled to be more involved? How about gathering your own donations to shave your head? Ladies, if you are not sure about shaving your heads, we will also be cutting hair to donate to Locks of Love. If you've got the locks gentlemen, you are invited to do so as well. You will need to be willing to cut a minimum of 10 inches. Lets see those lovely locks! Maybe this whole getting rid of hair deal is not your thing. Well we have another way you can do your part! Any pool sharks out there? Anyone have any trick shots you would like to show off? How about entering into the 3-ball pool tournament? Entry fee is whatever amount you raise, which will be put into the pot. All winnings will go to St. Baldrick's. Whatever you decide, we would love for you to be a part of our efforts to fight something that is far too common! Thank you for helping us reach our goal!
