I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Team New Research 9

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Team New Research 9

Goal...

$1000US - Shave head (a number 1)

$1500US - Mohawk

$2000US - Purple Mohawk (kept for 1 month).

If you've known me for a while, you know I've shaved my head before for cancer research. This time I wanted to help a family who lost their beautiful daughter, Haley. I went to school with Haley's Mum and wanted to do what I can to support Haley's brother Zachary with his fundraising. He says it better than I ever could.

Zachary words...

"Every 2 minutes, a parent hears the news that no one wants to hear. Every 2 minutes, lives are flipped upside down. Every 2 minutes, a child gets diagnosed with cancer. My sister was one of those children. When she was 5, we found out she had medulloblastoma, a cancer that attacks the brain and spinal cord. When she was 6, it relapsed. She always had a positive spin on things, and her smile would brighten anyone's day. If you were down, she would give you a hug and suddenly, things wouldn't seem so bad. She passed away at the young age of 10....And if you do choose to donate, 100% of the money you give will go directly to childhood cancer research. In the time it took you to read this, a child will have likely been diagnosed, so please donate to end this tragedy once and for all!"

I hope you will help with this great cause. It's also ok if you kinda just want to see me with a purple mohawk.

I won't be at the event in Honolulu (I wish), but I will Facebook live my head shaving on April 28.
