I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Chai Life

When I was diagnosed with cancer 2 years ago, I never imagined the path this monster would take: several major operations, months of radiation, countless tests, scans, procedures and checkups. Now imagine a precious 7 year old child having to go through all that and worse.

My Honored Kid this year is Wesley Payton, who was diagnosed with Leukemia in April 2015. I came to know Wesley's story last summer as I worked with a local event that was organized to help support Wesley's family with the myriad of expenses associated with treatment. Sadly, Wesley went to Heaven just days before the event.

Childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. We have to do something, to prevent families like the Paytons from losing their babies.  I'll be doing my "something" by getting my head shaved on March 11th to help raise money for childhood cancer research. St. Baldrick's supports real research for real kids, and together we raised over $38M in 2016.

Please help me honor Wesley and thousands of kids like him by making a donation today. Every dollar makes a difference for the many infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers every day.

Thank you for your support!
