I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

Hey There! My name's Maryann and I'm a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner student.

Since October 2015, I've been spending my clinical rotation in the field of Pediatric Hematology/ Oncology. I have absolutely loved getting to know the patients that I work with but I've witnessed some heart-breaking moments as well.

That's why I've decided to shave my head to support pediatric cancer research. The research for childhood cancers is extremely underfunded and we have to change that!

I've been inspired by the amazing children that I interact with. No matter what, they don't let cancer bring them down. They are some of the strongest girls and boys that I have ever met and I truly want to help in any way that I can.

I would love your support and any donation that you can make would be greatly appreciated. Even a few dollars can make a difference and help to find a cure. And whether you can or can't donate any money, I'd love your support in person. Hope to see you there! Let's do this :)

We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
