Hello!
Right before St. Patrick's Day, I shaved my head in solidarity with children who have cancer and typically lose their hair during treatment, while raising critical funds for childhood cancer research. Additionally, I did it to support a close friend who was diagnosed with lymphoma last month. She is undergoing treatment in Houston. Please say a prayer or keep her in your thoughts. I'd really appreciate it and I know she would, too.
At first, I was very hesitant and self-conscious about it, given the nature of my oddly shaped bulbous head. But the cause that St. Baldrick's supports outweighed any frivolous notions I had about my appearance. In the US, more children die of childhood cancer than any other disease. Please make a donation on my behalf to support childhood cancer research so that all children diagnosed with cancer will have a better chance for a cure.
To make a donation, click on "Make A Donation" or donate by mail or phone. I know we're all strapped for cash right now, but if you have the means to donate to this wonderful cause, I know that many kids and other cancer patients will reap the benefits. Thank you for your support!
Love,
Sean
