I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I'm shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research! Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So I decided to do something about it by raising money for cures. I have already donated my hair 3 times and I decided this was the next step I wanted to take to support children’s cancer patients. Shaving my head isn't a big deal, but having cancer is! Help me make a difference!

I’m shaving my head in remembrance of my Grammy who died of breast cancer and my cousin Heather who died at a young age of adrenal cancer. I’m also remembering all my other family members who I have lost, who had or who have cancer. And most importantly I’m shaving my head in honor of every little girl and boy who is fighting cancer. I hope that by shaving my head I can show that being bald truly is beautiful.

The most important part of shaving my head is raising money for childhood cancer research. Everyone who donates is helping raise money for childhood cancer research. Every year, approximately 250,000 new cases of cancer affect children under the age of 20 worldwide.

Now I need your help! Help make a difference in thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults lives by donating. Every dollar counts!
