I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Rock 93.5/Dave Stewart

As a person who has lost his mother to liver cancer, and who's father has lung and spinal cancer and is currently in treatment for both, I felt compelled to commend those who are involved in this wonderful foundation against the fight of children's cancer. After looking at the photos of participants,I was deeply inspired to get involved as a "shavee". I hope I can make a difference in a child's life so there is a little more joy for them to ease the weight of thier fight against cancer. Please help make a difference today & donate! We have also been informed by a longtime friend that her 9 yr old daughter Deanna has been diagnosed with medulloblastoma , and has succesfully had a tumor removed from her brain, and is awaiting radiation treatment. While she is not on the list of children who were honorees, Deanna is in our thoughts, prayers, and it is for her and all those in her family that I am fighting to raise funds and awareness through this event.
