I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Team DC Firefighters 2022

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Team DC Firefighters 2022

Welcome to 2022!  I have scaled back my efforts, but I am still asking for your support with donations, sharing the page or showing up to the event (hopefully an in-person event will happen).  Thank you to everyone over the years for the continued support.

This is my 12th year being a Shavee with St. Baldrick's and Team DC Firefighters. The group has been fundraising since 2008 and have raised well over $200,000, but we still need YOUR help! Please join the team, donate, volunteer, or do them all!!!

I'm shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research! Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So I decided to do something about it by raising money for cures. Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.

Now I need your support! Your donation can fund research to help kids survive and thrive. Join me today and let’s #DFYchildhoodCancers together.

Why am I shaving my head with St. Baldrick’s? Because your donation “on my head” will actually save lives.

Kids with cancer need our support now more than ever. St. Baldrick’s is the largest non-government funder of childhood cancer research grants, and the pandemic has slashed donations, slowing down the progress to find cures.

Cancer kills more of our kids than any other disease. Research can change that, and I don’t want to let these kids down. Can you help? Thank you so much!

Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
