I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: LaurenStrong

I want everyone to know that I get one haircut a year and that is at an annual St Baldricks event. I have been doing this for the last 7 years. If something as simple as growing my hair, and believe me it grows back fast, can help raise awareness and funding for children's cancer then why not. This year we are hosting an event to Lauren McCullough. She had a blog "The Not Dying girl". In this she shared with us her journey of fighting cancer and her strength amazed us. She asked us to reach out and be active in helping to eradicate children's cancer. So that is what we would like to do. Our hair grows back. Be a hero for kids with cancer! Join this St. Baldrick's event, and whether you decide to shave your head, volunteer, or donate, we hope you'll be a part of the excitement
