DONOR PERKS LIST:
(when you donate, I'll get in touch with you about your perks!)
For any amount donated, you have my immense gratitude. This is something that means a lot to me, simply because I know so many people that have dealt or are dealing with cancer, and I would like to do my part to help end it, especially for my littlest brother and the others who'll come after me.
For every day from now until Good Friday that at least $3 is raised, I will not shave my face. I'll take pictures, I promise! (I'm half-dreading this, but also mildly interested in seeing what I'll look like by Holy Week).
$20 : I'll send you one of my favorite poems (maybe
this one) handwritten on a St. Baldrick's postcard! I'll see whether I can dig up my old calligraphy pens. . .
$50 : You can help me make one of
these! Pick a quote that is true, good, and beautiful, and/or a picture that you like (nothing copyrighted please;
Pexels is a great place for beautiful public domain pics!) and I shall dedicate the resulting creation to you! You'll also get the poem-on-a-postcard perk!
$100 : You (or your group) gets to pick a song that I shall attempt to cover. I apologize in advance for the possibly horrendous results, and would like to remind you that neither myself nor St. Baldrick's Foundation can be held liable for bleeding eardrums. I reserve the right to make any lame song much better. Also, you'll get all previous perks.
When I hit my goal, I'll. . . hm, still figuring that out. A polar plunge similar to
this has been suggested. I'll gladly take any other suggestions via
@pfjapPaco on Twitter! Or you can add to the thread on Facebook
here.
Pax Christi.

I'm shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research! Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So I decided to do something about it by raising money for cures.
Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.
