I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Ava Warriors

Did you know kids' cancers are different from adult cancers and research is underfunded? St. Baldricks is trying to change that. We need your help! Every dollar makes a difference.

This is my 8th year shaving for St. Baldricks. Our team Ava Warriors wants to help find a cure for kids. I'm shaving for all battling cancer and in honor of these special friends and family.

Ava: Ava (9) was diagnosed with a DIPG tumor. Ava was my friend Max's sister and my brother's classmate. She lost her fight after a very courageous battle. Ava's brother Max is part of our team and shaving for the 2nd year in honor of his sister. DIPG is a beast. We have to fund research to find a cure!

Casey: I started shaving in 1st grade when my cousin Casey (11) was diagnosed with a stage IV wilms tumor. Casey is now 18 and after a hard fight, including removal of a kidney, part of her liver, and chemo/radiation, she is cancer free and doing well in college.

Grandpa Hanrahan: he was proud to watch us shave each year for this cause. He was diagnosed with stage IV lung cancer in 2017 and lost his hard fought battle in just 40 days. He was hilarious, genuine, supportive, and an awesome grandpa!

Your support and donations have meant a lot to us over the years. THANK YOU!
