I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

When cancer affects an adult, it's painful and traumatizing. No one wants to watch their loved one take in that diagnosis and then struggle to fight it. Struggle to have a quality of life that is outside doctor's appointments, operating rooms, and chemotherapy clinics.

Now imagine a child...a toddler...going through that same process. Knowing they are sick, but not understanding what it means, or how significantly it will impact their lives and the lives of those they love. I can't image, as a parent, watching my child go through that. But there are people who do it every day.

Childhood cancers are different from adult cancers and childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So I'm doing something about it by raising money to fund further research, in the hopes that one day , we will have cures. In the hopes that one day, childhood cancer will be as rare as small pox.

Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.
