I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

Welcome, and thank you for taking time to visit my donation page for my St. Baldrick's fundraiser.  While we've come so far in treating childhood cancer, there is so much work to be done, as children's cancer research remains significantly underfunded. Nearly 40,000 children undergo cancer treatment every year, many of which are different than adult cancers, requiring unique treatments.  

Since you've clicked the link and come this far, I hope you will donate what you can to help in the fight against childhood cancer. Every donation is crucial and every dollar brings us one step closer to finding cures and new targeted therapies. If you are still unsure about donating, I encourage you to explore the site and see all the research that is funded because of donor generosity. I think you will be surprised by the reach of these donations, funding research for treatments that may affect children in your local hospitals.
