I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Drew's Crew

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Drew's Crew

Ladies and gentlemen!  Iiiiitttttt's....tiiiiiime!  As many of you are already aware, every year I participate in St. Baldrick's to help raise money to fight childhood cancer.  I do this in honor of one of my closest friends, Drew Eilbacher, whose life was unfortunately cut short on July 2nd, 2011 as he neared his 24th birthday.  Myself, the rest of Drew's Crew, his parents (one of whom is my Godmother), and many others will be looking to beat our previous fundraising goals.  We do this in the hope to push onward with the fight to end childhood cancer.  We do this so that these brave children can heal and live the lives they deserve.  We do this in the hope that one day no more parents will have to say goodbye to the ones they hold dearest.  And of course, we do this in memory of those who've already been taken from us too soon.

This year, I have raised the bar for my personal goal to $600.  And, like last year, I have been growing the beard out since Halloween.  So, if you want to help me, while also getting some good laughs at how much of a baby I'll look like once I'm bald and shaven, make sure you donate!

And, as always.  Drew, I miss you so much.  This has been one of the toughest years for me mentally and emotionally.  But, I believe you've been beside me through it all.  So thank you for being with me in spirit.  RIP, I love you brother.
