I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with:
Halo keepers
Let’s do this!!!! In September 2016 I founded Halo Keepers. We are a nonprofit who makes soft yarn wigs and princess and superhero visits for kids battling cancer.
These kids amaze me everyday. My best friend passed away our senior year from leukemia. My amazing sweet little friend Jonathan passed from a recurrent brain tumor at the age of 5 in 2016. Since Halo Keepers began I have met some of the strongest kids, and most amazing families. Maddie Pitts has a very profound impact on my life. It’s is so true when you meet a child battling cancer your life changes forever. There is not enough funding for childhood cancer. Kids are being treated by drugs developed for adults and the treatments are killing them. Less than five new drugs have been approved for childhood cancer treatment in the last 35 years. Only 4% of national cancer funding goes to childhood cancer. That’s 4% for every type of childhood cancer combined. No wonder we can’t do better. Events like this are so important and if I can shave my head and those dollars will go To help cure cancer then let do it!!!!! Please consider donating on this link. If you were interested in joining me for a free haircut in March I love to have you.

St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids
Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
St. Baldrick’s started as a grassroots effort 25 years ago, driven by people who believe in helping kids with cancer.
