I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research
I’m shaving my head on March 10th!
If you haven’t heard, St. Baldrick’s Foundation hosts events nationally each year to fundraise for children cancer patients. The St. Baldrick's Foundation is a volunteer-powered charity that funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government.
That being said, how could I not be a Shavee for St. Baldrick’s Foundation! A Shavee makes a commitment to fundraise for St. Baldrick’s Foundation, once the event is over and funds have been raised, I voluntarily shave my head in honor and support of children’s cancer at an event in town. The main purpose is to raise questions and spread the word about the amazing work St. Baldrick’s Foundation does.
My goal is to raise $1,000 by March 10th when the head shaving begins! I started the donation pool by donating $100 myself. If I can get 9 more people to donate $100 I will meet my goal, but I hope to surpass it.
Every cent counts when it comes to saving lives.
Cancer may have started the fight, but together we will finish it.

Your Roles
St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids
Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
St. Baldrick’s started as a grassroots effort 25 years ago, driven by people who believe in helping kids with cancer.
