I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: LPCH Dream Team

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: LPCH Dream Team

Hair loss? What’s the big deal? Embrace baldness! My brother always gets irate and says that it is easy for me to say. Both my brother and father lost their hair by their early 30’s. In fact, I’ve only known my dad as bald. But it is not just aging or looks that is the big deal: it is the loss of control, the sense of something happening to your body and life that you can’t stop. In honor of the children diagnosed with cancer and their families, all who lose control of their lives for some time, (and my dad and brother), I am shaving my head to raise money to support the St. Baldrick’s Foundation, which supports pediatric oncology research.

Please help to take back a little control for those affected by childhood cancer by making a donation.  Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.

St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids

Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
