Tech Conquers Kids Cancer with SAP & LPCH

Join the fourth annual St. Baldrick's ~ Tech Conquers Kida Cancer event at SAP in Palo Alto! To date, this event has raised more than $510,000 for the St. Baldrick’s Foundation, the world’s largest non-profit dedicated to funding research for pediatric cancers.

Be a hero for kids with cancer and join us on Thursday, April 19, 4:00–8:00 p.m. Whether you decide to shave your head, volunteer, donate, or simply join us for the event. we hope you'll be a part of the excitement! This fundraiser is open to the entire community, so bring your family, friends, and colleagues.

Event Highlights

·      John McGee, SVP & GM West Market Unit, SAP North America, will co-host along with Rob Glickman, Chief Marketing Officer, Treasure Data. 

·      Photobooth, food, beer, and wine – it’s a fun event for families and friends!

·      Eight (8) corporate teams & counting, including SAP, VMware, NVIDIA, Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital (LPCH), ESG, and Treasure Data

·      49ers Defensive Tackle DeForest Buckner will be shaving heads and signing autographs with Sourdough Sam

·      Palo Alto Firefighters will return to shave their heads, bring the fire engine, and will give away an authentic fire helmet.

·      Stanford Doctors and St. Baldrick’s grant recipients from LPCH will share their research and story

·      Two patients from LPCH will share their personal cancer stories

·      Raffle prizes galore; see below

Grand Prize: San Jose Sharks Fan Package

·       Four (4) tickets to an SJ Sharks regular season game during the 2018-19 season

·       Pre-game VIP behind the scenes tour of SAP Center, including exclusive access to watch the Sharks warm-up from ice level

Tech Conquers Kids’ Cancer (TCKC) is a global movement of tech professionals committed to raising funds for lifesaving childhood cancer research. Dollars raised by TCKC helps fund research like the Treehouse Childhood Cancer Initiative.
