I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: TEAM LILBUG

Since my daughter, Hannah, was diagnosed with leukemia in 2015, we've made friends with many cancer families. Among them are the Armbrusters and their daughter, Lilly. Hannah and Lilly often played together at the oncology clinic, running and giggling down the hallway. Sweet Lilly left this earth in March 2018 at the age of 4 after a hard-fought battle with rhabdomyosarcoma. Also in March 2018, Hannah completed treatment for her cancer. It was a month filled with extreme emotions.

It's in honor of Hannah and in memory of Lilly, that I chose to shave my head and raise funds and awareness for childhood cancer research. We have hope that someday a cure will be found for all types of childhood cancer and that treatment drugs can be made safer and more effective for children. Your donation can help make that happen!
