I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

Most people don’t actually know this, but childhood cancer is different from adult cancer. Due to this reason, there is overall significantly less support for research toward childhood cancer. I am studying inclusive early childhood education at Bowling Green State University, and part of my job as a teacher is to be a positive role model for the children I interact with as well as providing comfort and support. I want to be a part of something bigger than myself, so I’m shaving my head to raise awareness and money for childhood cancer. Thank you for your endless love and support in my endeavors; may we all be as brave someday as the thousands of children across the globe who have battled with cancer.

St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids

Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
