I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

This may seem crazy but let me explain I'm shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research. Most government funds go toward adult cancer research thus childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. There may be kids with bare heads on the ads in hospitals but in reality the kids are the ones being overlooked. I find that crazy though. Think about it, the kids are our future. Our future doctors, scientists and teachers? They're all currently defenseless kids. The children who have the minds to potentially cure cancer could be the same ones whose lives are cut short. When I heard about St. Baldrick's I couldn't stop thinking about it and finally realized that this is an opportunity to make some sort of contribution and take action. But the thing is, I can't do it alone, I need your help. Will you make a donation? Twenty dollars, ten dollars, five dollars, one dollar, it doesn't matter how much you give. Every dollar counts toward making a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.
