I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research
Do you know the man in the before picture? That's how I started off the last fundraising effort I did for St. Baldrick's. With your help we raised over $500.00 to help fund childhood cancer research! I want to thank each and every one of you for your support. And now that my hair is of sufficient length I thought it was time to do it again. Only this time it's a little different. This time the purpose hits a little close to home.
In 2015 my niece Becky (son Chase- age 10) married Travis( son Landon- age 10) The boys became the best of friends. Then in July of 2016 Landon started having siezures. After much investigation it was determined that Landon has an in-operable brain tumor. It's just not right! It's just not fair!!
Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So I decided to do something about it by raising money for cures. Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar can help make a difference for Landon and for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers. No donation is too small. Let's see if we can make a difference! Maybe we'll see you at Austin's on April 7th.
Wishing you
Love and Peace,
Jim Jochheim
