I helped to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Blue Devil Baldies

I helped to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Blue Devil Baldies

As this first year of PA school has flown by, I have met many amazing people that are passionate about impacting lives. This year, along with my classmates, we have the honor of raising money to impact childhood cancer research! St. Baldrick's Foundation is a volunteer-powered charity committed to funding the most promising research to find cures for childhood cancers and give survivors long and healthy lives. They are the largest private funder of childhood cancer research grants. About 60% of all funding for drug development in adult cancers comes from pharmaceutical companies. For kids? Almost none, because childhood cancer drugs are not profitable. And kid’s cancers are different from adult cancers!

About a month ago, our class held a Superhero-themed health event at a local elementary school (depicted in the profile photo!). While we pretended to be superheros there, St. Baldrick's is making a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers that are the true superheros.  Would you consider making a donation to this foundation to help fund research? Any amount will help as every dollar makes a difference!!!

Thank you so very much for considering this!!
