I'm shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research for the second year in a row. Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? Also, Childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So I decided to do something about it by raising money for cures.
Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.
Most people I speak to have known someone who has battled with cancer considering that an estimated 38.5% of people will be diagnosed with cancer of any site at some point during their lifetime. We don't just wish for and want a cure for everyone affected by cancer; we NEED a cure. Shaving my head is such a small action I am taking, but together we can create a change. One person can make a difference, but together we can change the world. I am honoring those strong and inspiring warriors (both adults and children) who have battled and/or continue to fight cancer that include many of my friends and family members.
