I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I'm shaving my head, YES SHAVING MY HEAD, to raise money for childhood cancer research! Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So I decided to do something about it by raising money for cures.

I'm also doing this in honor of a few people, who through their strength and courage has inspired me beyond words:

❤❤❤❤❤

Aunt Patrica Kratzer, Aunt Susan Kratzer, Mike Alvey's sister Steph, my boss; John Gunter's wife Linda and Brandon Federico. And also please Pray for my cousin Brandi!

Cancer has taken too many wonderful souls from us! Please help! Together we can make a change!❤

Thank you for helping me reach my original goal of $500 everyone! Now I'm shooting for $2500! I can't do this without your help. My employer, Evraz RMSM donated $200 also!  I hope to see you all at the event and don't be afraid to join in! There will be live music, delicious food prepared by the Pueblo Young Marines, green lemonade, green beer in the beer garden, face-painting, silent auction, raffles, give-aways, Ident-A-Kid provided by the Pueblo County Sheriff's Office, the D.A.R.E Hummer, Pueblo County Fire, AMR and of course, a TON OF HEAD-SHAVING!

Free dessert with a $5 or over donation! Compliments of BISTORO, 109 Central Plaza. (719) 696-9672

At 11:00am sharp, we will introduce Andre and Colton, two of the three brave young men who have had to endure the horrific journey of battling childhood cancer (multiple times) and are our Honored Kids. Justin Miller is also one of our Honored Kids. Justin lost his battle with cancer in 2014. He was 11 years old. In 2011, as Justin was going in for a treatment, he said, I would do anything to make the cancer get out of my body. I will never be too tired to stop fighting let's go do this thing. These kids and the many others who have to endure this horrible monster called cancer are the reason we do what we do.

Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults who have been diagnosed with cancer.

Thank You and God Bless!!!!
