I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Pat Mac’s Pack

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Pat Mac’s Pack

It's St. Baldrick's time again. That means it's time again to join with Pat Mac's Pack to help in the fight against pediatric cancer.

We also again honor our departed friend, Patrick McNamara, by helping to raise money for childhood cancer research!

Patrick was truly remarkable. In 2011, as an 8th grader at St. Barnabas, he lost his 11-year battle with cancer. But with all Pat went through – and he went through a lot – his spirit never wavered. He brought joy to all who knew him until the moment he said his final good bye (I mean, “See you later!”). So our parish community honors his memory by being proud members of Pat Mac’s Pack, through annual participation in St. Baldrick’s and with many other activities throughout the year.

St. Baldrick's Foundation is a volunteer-driven charity that funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U. S. government. Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers.

Finally, please say a prayer for all those suffering, all those providing care and all those working on a cure.

Thanks,
