I helped to raise money for childhood cancer research

I helped to raise money for childhood cancer research

This is my 4th year volunteering & raising money for St.Baldrick’s. Each year, my friends & family have all surprised me with their support & contribution - but it’s time again to raise money for childhood cancer research!

Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So I decided to do something about it by raising money for cures.

A child is diagnosed with cancer every 2 minutes. And more children are lost to cancer every year than many other diseases combined. 1 in every 285 children will be diagnosed with cancer before the age of 20.

St.Baldrick’s helps take care of families who are struggling with a childhood cancer diagnosis even in our own neighborhoods, and they help fund research facilities & educational programs all across the world.

Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.

The children I chose to honor this year (listed below) are all Louisiana residents. I chose to do so in order to show just how childhood cancer affects us here at home.
