I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Park Ridge Firefighters Local 2697

This might be my last year actually growing out my hair to shave it off...it is getting really bad!  I'm trying to go out on top and raise more dollars than the functioning hair follicles I have left (Shouldn't be too hard!).  If you have come this far, please consider donating, it only takes a minute!  I started doing this years ago because it was a fun charity event to hang out with my FD brothers, obviously for a good cause.  Years later, 2 children of my own, and seeing the toll pediatric cancer can take on a child and their family, I understand how important the mission of St. Baldrick's is.

I'm shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research! Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So I decided to do something about it by raising money for cures.

Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.
