I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Drink Up Youngstown

My name is Emily. I’m in the first grade, and i am 6 years old. I'm cutting off about 8 inches of hair (to chin length)!to help raise money for kids who have cancer. I’m going to donate my hair to help make a wig for a little boy or girl who needs it!

I am inspired to do this because of our family friend, Nora S. Nora is 4 years old, and currently undergoing treatment for her stage 4 High Risk neuroblastoma. Nora is brave and strong, and I want to do everything I can to help her and other kids like her!!

Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.

Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
