I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

One of the hardest things I ever did as a parent was about 12 years ago when I had to explain to my 2nd grade son why his friend and classmate had to miss half the school year and when she returned to school she had no hair left.  No parent should have to explain cancer to a 7 year old! A couple of years later Dummer school started participating as a St. Baldrick's event. I decided that this would be my way to help fight so that no other parent should have to do that! I will continue to help raise money to fight childhood cancer as long as I am able! Please, even if you can only spare 5 bucks, this is a great cause!
