I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Hairline Fractures

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Hairline Fractures

Last summer, while standing in the beer line at Busch Gardens, a girl no more than 10 years old noticed me wearing my St. Baldrick's T-shirt from last year's event.  She walked over to me and said, "thank you." I looked at her a little perplexed and she told me that she was a cancer survivor.  I was shocked and I didn't know what to say. I gave her a hug and told her I was so proud of her for being such a fighter.

Cancer Sucks! It sucks, even more, when it affects a child. I'm raising money again this year by sacrificing my beautiful head of grey hair for some donations from my friends and family.

Joining me this year is my incredible daughter Kate.  I realize that a 50-year-old bald guy isn't really that much of a shock or self-sacrifice to even get excited about.  However, a 13-year-old girl with absolutely beautiful hair doing this should move you enough to open up your wallet and donate at least $5.  Please go to Kate's page and make a donation to help fund the research to save children with cancer.
