AJ participated in the St. Baldrick's event at Seattle Children's Hospital last April while he was there as a patient recovering from multiple brain surgeries to help end his seizures and in physical therapy because he lost the motor function in his right leg and foot due to the surgeries. Instead of feeling sorry for himself and his condition he helped raise money for children's cancer research by shaving his head with St. Baldricks! He made his hairdresser really nervous as he still had stitches in his head from the surgery! The organizers also recognized him as an Honored Kid at that event.
AJ has made a remarkable recovery and has decided to participate again this year joining the North Pole Fire Department team.
Now we need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.
