I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Rio Fire

My name is Jonathan, I’m 9 years old and this is my first time helping people with cancer. I’m shaving my head because I want to help children that are very sick. Please give any money to help save lives. (Written by Jonathan)

When I first asked Jonathan if he wanted to shave his head with Dad, it was a prompt and blunt “NO”. This little guy loves his hair so I was not surprised at his response. No seriously, it’s basically his pride and joy! It took some conversation between both myself and his Grammie to educate Jonathan on the cause. It wasn’t but 24 hours later that he decided he wanted to shave. I gave him the next few days to think it over and about every 4 hours he would remind me that he wanted to. Perhaps a friendly “competition “ mention on who could raise more inspired him. Please donate anything you possibly can for him. Shhhhh don’t tell him but I’m hoping he wins. (Written by Dad, Jonathan Sr.)

At the end of it all, it’s for the kiddos and we can’t be more grateful to have to opportunity to shine a light of brightness for them.
