I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Team Kyra

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Team Kyra

I am the mom of three children. I'm often asked how many children I have, its a common garden easy question for the most part. But for parents who have lost a child it can bring you to your knees.

This incredible St.Baldricks community has provided a soft place to land for many parents who have lost children. We're better together, we find each other.

This diverse, energetic and extraordinary community that we now know to be #VegasStrong will not disappoint.

On March 3rd I will be one of hundreds of people shaving their heads in solidarity for children and to raise funds and awareness for kids cancer research. We may shed a tear, but mostly we will be smiling bright and buoyed with joy as we come together and create magic. It's a simple joy, for that day its not about us, its something much bigger and that seems to bring out the best in us.

Team Kyra as of Jan 12 is a team of nine! Watch us grow!

Our goal? To bring a lot of new faces and shavees and volunteers to the event.

Our other goal? Well its the twelfth year, so $12 000.00 seems a reasonable goal.

Clearly we will need help. So All Donations welcome and your participation is needed and much appreciated if we want to beat some of these stud teams and raise all that money!

Ross and Branagh, big brother and little sister of Kyra and the loves of my life, thank you for you.
