I helped to raise money for childhood cancer research with: University of Cincinnati College of Medicine

I helped to raise money for childhood cancer research with: University of Cincinnati College of Medicine

I'm raising money for childhood cancer research! Currently, research in this field is extremely underfunded. However, past research in cancer has led to some great improvements in the field. For example, in 2010, genes linked to Wilms' Tumor, a childhood kidney cancer, were identified. In the same year, a clinical trial of a drug called mitoxantrone yielded critical information on how it could help children with acute lymphoblastic leukemia.

However, gaps do remain-and this is why we need to focus on further research.

Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers. No amount of money is too small.

If you have any questions, you can feel free to contact me at sorabpt@mail.uc.edu

Thanks for taking the time to read this, and I hope you consider donating!
