I helped to raise money for childhood cancer research

Hello friends and family,

Every 2 minutes, a child is diagnosed with cancer somewhere around the world. In the United States, 1 in 5 die. Those who survive are negatively affected by the treatment. The good news? You can do something to help! St. Baldricks gives away 100% of the money donated, which is why they have been able to grant over $100 million dollars a year to hundreds of research projects since 2005. Every year BG hosts a shave-a-thon in February where men, women and children shave their heads in support or donate their hair for wigs. I plan to donate my hair and have a feeling I’ll become so passionate that I’ll decide to shave my head. In the meantime, I am a part of the pre-event planning committee and am organizing events to raise money. I have a personal goal of $500, but am hoping to raise more with your help! If you are unable to donate, please please please share!! Thank you in advance
