I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

We're going to Brave the Shave! Why are we submitting to this extreme haircut? 

 •  For kids with cancer.

•  To support finding a cure for childhood cancer.

•  To help fund the St Baldrick's Foundation Childhood Cancer Research Grant program. (Over $200 million granted since 2005)

•  In memory of childhood friends Gina and Randy.

 •  To support the Mutual Insurance Industry through NAMIC’s St Baldrick's benefit efforts.

•  To stop the incessant coaxing by John Smith, PA Lumbermens Mutual President & CEO (John & his wife Julie shaved in 2016 and raised over $112,000 for the St Baldrick's Foundation. We would love to top that number!)

Many of us have had our lives touched in one way or another by cancer. Please stop and consider what amount of money you wouldn’t give to avoid the devastating news of a childhood cancer diagnosis of someone you love.
